whenever i load my songs from my floppys onto my pc, the song plays, but it sounds like every instrument has been replaced with a piano sound, even the drums. The songs play perfectly in my mpc 2000, they just don't play the same on my computer. Could anyone help me with this, thanks

Because its simply playing the midi and not the actual samples.

Is there a reason ur doing it this way? have u tried recording from ur mpc out of ur audio outs into the audio in on ur pc? and just tracking each seperate track.. as in..

Kicks seperate.. snares seperate, hats seperate.. melody chops seperate.. bass.. etc etc etc..

and just multi tracking them, either from the multiple outputs on the mpc or 1 at a time individually into the multi track prog?

no i have not, but i will try. thanks for the reply. So if i wanted to fix all my songs, i would just multitrack them with the mpc outs into my PC?
