SAMPLING ON THE MPC4000

OK I FIGURED OUT HOW TO SAMPLE ON THE MPC BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN MY SAMPLE LIST IT PLAYS VERY FAST AND ALSO I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET IT FROM MY SAMPLE LIST TO A ACTUAL PAD. CAN ANY ONE HELP. ALSO I BASICALLY NEED THE HOW RUN DOWN ON TRIM AND THE REGIONS IM CLUELESS.
Once I assign it to a pad how do i get to stop play when I release the pad instead of it just playing all the way through and if I press the pad 3 times it will play it 3 times at the same time.

Feline`s right you got to read the manual plus basic sampling dude. You will get out of it what you put in it.

Don't listen to it in "List" view. Hit F2 (TRIM/Loop) and then listen
to your sample


Next, you would assign a sample to a pad in a "Program" so you'll want to concentrate on that section of the manual...
