wassup guys i have recently got my mpc, and whilst i waited till i could afford a mixer/turntable i just jammed around with the prerset sounds and made some pretty cool stuff.
I finally got my mixer (ttm56) and a 1210 a week ago and iam having a problem recording into the mpc. i have the turntable connected to the phono 1 of the mixer and the mixer going from aux out into record in on the mpc. I have followed all the instructions as stated in the manual but i am not hearing or recording anything when the mpc is armed into record mode. I have it set to analog stereo but when i play the vinyl i am hearing no sound atall. i think it may be a problem with the mixer/tt not the mpc because when i have the monitors plugged into the mpc i hear everything fine.
What i tried to do was plug the monitors straight into the mixer with tt connected but i still didnt recieve any sound, does this mean i need an amp to hear the sound, or have i gone wrong somewhere with the connections, any help would be gratley appreciated, i was just starting to get the hang of the mpc itself but now this has held me up, ive tried everything i can think of but im not great with wires and stuff!!!! thanx
