http://www.zshare.net/audio/297441284e1212/ First of all, I only have reason (no midi keyboard or drum pads Sad but will buy them soon Very Happy) So far I've tried making drum patterns but I can never come up with hip hop drum patterns WTF?!?!?! Please tell me what I am doing wrong or please share some tips. I'm trying to get my drum patterns to sound like Havoc's (Pre Murda Muzik drums) and the Roots Drums of Illadelph Halflife and Things Fall Apart.

put a kick on the 1 and 3
snare on the 2 and 4

well your statement leads to another question that involves tempo. I use two programs to make loops so far (FL Studio 6 and Reason 3.0). My question is I played a loop in reason with the tempo at 85 then in FL Studio at 85. In FL Studio a tempo of 85 sounds nothing like a tempo of 85 in reason, WTF!?! I did this loop in reason using redrum with the resolution at 1/8t and the tempo at 84 now what exactly is the resolution? Also when you say put a kick on 1 and 3 and snare on 2 and 4 do you mean of every bar?
