MPC 1000 QUESTION!!

I just bought an MPC 1000. I wanted to know, can I sample directly from my mac? If so, what is the process for doing so? Do I have to save the MP3 on the CF? Or can I just record from the headphone out? Please Let me know. Peace.

You can sample from any source that has an audio output. Just connect that output to a mixer and then the mixer output to the RECORD IN on the mpc1k. The reason i say use a mixer instead of direct connection is to allow more control over your levels/sounds.
