how is it hooked up?

should be

4k midi out - triton midi in
triton midi out - 4k midi in

on the mpc chose the midi out that the triton is connected to, pick a channel, and play

U know, its a lot of things i could negatively say about this type of response. But I will be an adult and just say this, Rather than wait for someone to flame on my thread, is it really that hard for you to possibly try and be a help to someone?

no problem, just another tip, i'm sure you will want to save the sounds you use on the triton in your sequence, you'll want to use the PGM change option, turn it on and chose the program, consult your triton documentation to find out the MSB/LSB so you can save the bank the sound was in as well.

mike19132 oh man you're one sensitive dude. I didnt even say anything really, I just know how feline1 answers these types of questions. And in all honesty, reading the manual would have given you this answer. These types of questions are asked on a weekly basis and thats because people are too lazy to read.

Ive helped alot of people in here when I've been able to, these types of questions are so basic that you grow tired of answering them. If only people would RTFM...

But Im glad you got it working.

Its kool Kalei, sorry 4 sounding sensitive. LOL i guess that may have been the case. Just tired of all of the flame wars that go on in threads. And yeah ur right i should have found it in the manual but its not the best manual. Very vague. Sorry, had the 4K for about 4 or 5 months and just finally took it out of the box yesterday ( I KNOW) "work too much, on vacation now and really finally had the time to try and get things goin with it. I know how it is to have to answer the same questions over and over again, im a supervisor, LOL. so sorry for jumpin tha gun. BTW ive come across some of felines responses and well, you said it all. LOL But yeah I know what you mean.
