Buying an mpc

I'm about to buy my mpc. Got a question for you vets. Would it be a good idea to start with a 500? I'm making beats for a demo and ain't trying to drop a lot of change at the moment. Hit me back. :x

What up bro. I would say start with atleast a 1000. If you got the cash go head and cop a 2000XL or a 2500. The 1000 is a great MPC though. We have a 2500 @ the studio and I like usin" my 1000 more. Weird but true.

so whats up with MPD 24, is it any good?? I see a lot of people prefer MPC's?
