mpc 1000 loop hold

Guys ive asked before with no real answer... but can anyone tell me how i can get something to stay looping without having my damn finger on the pad the whole time? or should i just buy an sp 404 for this purpose? its really f##king pissing me off!

Set the sample to "One-Shot".

then it will play only once though and not loop, is there anything else i need to change?

There is no "Loop Hold" function on the MPCs as far as I know. You can program your sample into a sequence and play that.

and the tempo has to be correct in order to loop.

Well..yea. I assumed basic sequencing skills

no worrys, i have a sp 404 aswell now so im doing all my live loops on that, much more time efficient!
