Which software is good to use with MPD 24?

I am new to MPD 24. I need a good software to purchase for it but I do not want to spend a lot of money. Do you think FL studio is good for making beats with MPD 24? If yes, which version of FL?

Fruity Loops is good. Reason is good. Live (ableton) is good. Battery is good. There are a lot of good programs out there, you just gotta try them out for yourself and see what works for you.
There are a lot of demos online so check the websites of the software for demos.

fxpansion guru should be good too, havnt tried it, but maybe you should

try out some demos and see with one you like the best.
