Hey peeps,

I'm new to the whole mpc thing, so please bare with me.

I'm looking into buying one of the two. But i'm tore between which one to get. I'm just wanting some pointers, advice, opnions please.

I use live at the moment, and want to hook up an mpc with the diff channels in live so I can do my beats in one channel and some sampling in another channel from the mpc, then do my sequencing and bits in live. Is this easy to do/possible?

Thanks in advance,
J.

maybe its just me but if you're not going to do the sequencing on the mpc and just use it for sampling, you'd probably save yourself a lot of money by just getting an older akai s series (s2000, s3000xl) sampler and a mpd16 for poppin off the beats. then you could have the mpc feel with the mpd, and midi it up to the s2000/s3000xl and feed that output back into live.

but, i may have missed the point completely :)
