Does anyone here sequence reason on their mpc

if so how do u get the completed beats into your daw for mixing? i am sequencing on my esq-1 and sequencing reason on it but I can't figure out how to track the audio from reason into Sonar. Please Help

i don't know your exact setup, but here are the possible options i see:

1 rewire. i don't know if it works in sonar. never used sonar. but what i would do in, let's say ableton live, is recording in the host the track of the slave, in this case reason. pretty simple and obvious.

2 external recording. the setup would be: mpc triggering reason via midi. external recorder capturing the computer. then back to the computer and into sonar.

3 recording midi in reason. the signal from the mpc coming to reason can be recorded (correct me if i'm wrong) and the loop or song exported.

i guess there are more options.

ideally recording in the host track i think is the best way to go its unfortunate that i can't do that in sonar i am looking for a new daw but until then i think option 3 is the only realisitic thing i can do thanks for the reply

if you are more into jammin than arranging, i can highly recommend ableton live 6. it's a beast with some options i haven't found in any other host software and a pretty nice sound engine. and the price is pretty reasonable, i think.
check out the free demo, it's a full version with just the safe and the bounce options disabled.

I love Ableton Live. I am considering it but before I do that I want to try what I have available. Besides that I still have a couple of keyboards I want to get my hands on as well as a sampler.
