ive got the mpc sync with cubase but its not running correctly.

im using the mpc as master so im sending midi time code and mmc from the mpc and set the frame rate to 30. i dont really know if that is what its sopossed to be set to or even what the frame rate actually does.

In the syncronisation setup in cubase ive set my edirol sound card as my midi timecode source and MMC input.

the thing is now that the position line in cubase is not exactly on the dot where im positioned on the mpc.

if im on bar 2 on the mpc then im on bar 1.4.4.116.

what am i doin wrong.

i really need to get this going so if anybody can help i will be forever grateful

Insert a blank bar at the beginning of your song on your MPC to give your DAW first to catch up.

Now I don`t use Cubase but alot of sequencers do basicially the same thing. You are a Cubuse user so I suggest you put in work to learn your DAW of choice. I moved your post as this is a beginner issues using Cubase with any MPC for that matter as they all work the same.

You got to do your homework first. This link with get you started.
