How do I connect my MPC to the decks?

Or how do I go about connecting my laptop to the MPC?

Run the decks into the mixer as normal and use the pre outs on the mixer or put the mpc into the chain you already have. Personally, Id do the chain. And guess where I would put the mpc in that chain? After the *****. Right!

Yea that's what I thought, but I just picked up a Rane TTM57 and it only has the one 'Main Out' I think (I'm not at home so not 100%), I've tried it from the 'Rec Out' on the Amp to 'Rec In' on the MPC and it doesn't seem to work.

I haven't had a proper think about this with the equipment infront of me but was hoping for a simple solution....?

The TTM57 has an additional Booth Out and an Aux Out which you might use. You could probably even use the Effect Sends to run to your MPC...

Good shout, doesn't seem to work still.

What input on the MPC am I suppose to use?

Are the decks classed as a MIDI contorller!?

**** me I'm puzzled.

There are only two choices - the "Record In" on the back of the 2K, or if you have the 8-outs installed, the S/PDIF digital in. Chances are you're going to need to go through the "Record In" jacks.

Peace,
KM

Sample.

When you go into sample mode, you will hear your mixer output on the stereo outputs/headphones of the MPC.

Then do your thing.

Peace,
