lock velocity using FL7 and axiom 25 (help please)

so me and my friend were in seattle, traveling, he was going to montana, and i was heading up to vancouver.

so we went into guitar center casue he wanted to get into making beats on a keyboard,but didnt want to buy hardware cause its too expensive. so i told him dude, get FL7 and an axiom 25, and you can pretty much start making beats pretty easy.

so he gets the FL7 and hes in montana now, and im back home in alaska, so he just asked me

"how do i lock velocity wiht my keyboard using fruity loops?"

i dont know too much about how to use fruity loops, just that its one of the most user freindly programs for begenners to make beats on,

i left my laptop charger in seattle so its getting sent up here rite now, so i cant go look at my demo version and try and help him out cause thats on my laptop and im using my moms computer rite now.

he said he looked up lock velocity to no avail.

does anyone know how to do this with FL7?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

while fl studio is open, hit f10. this will open up midi/audio options. on the bottom right corner of the options window, you can turn off velocity.

that worked for him! now i gotta figure out how to do it on acid, lol, i never use my midi keyboard for the same reason.

no problem. i dont know about acid, but it should be somewhere in audio settings i would think. check the manual for velocity settings.
