- Which MPC are you using?
- How much RAM memory do you have installed in it?
- How large is the sample you try to load?

im using the mpc 1000..JJ OS

NORMAL ram

it says 481k thats how long the sample is and after i chop it up how do u send diffrent parts to diffrent pads thanks .

The 16 MB standard RAM should be sufficient for that. If you don't have your memory packed with other things that is. Have a look at the Load screen in the bottom right where it says how much free memory you have. The chopping function needs some spare memory free to work correctly.

how do i clear it the FC card is reading empty but ...it still reads insufficent memory

for even sounds now .. im not sure wat i did but need to know how to clear everything please

The flash card is NOT the RAM memory your MPC is complaining about. Do again what I suggested in my last posting, there should be a "Wave Free" and "Seq Free" field in the bottom right.

Your MPC is probably autoloading the factory sets and occupying memory. Turn off the Autoload feature, should be described in the manual.
