MPC - erasing/settings/midi, 3 questions

hey simple question here....searched on the site for it but no luck.

1. How do i delete the internal memory i.e Top gun, CDS from the MPC 1000 including all seq's and programs ect

2. Is it possible I can save the setting in "Mixer" - "Input" to be constantly "On", without having to set this up each time I use my MPC.

3. Once I've recorded a midi performance track, do i then have to record the audio before i can record another midi performance track, using the same hardware synth. Because when i change to the 2nd track and change the synth sound, the 1st one i recorded earlier is changed!

If your synth isn't multitimbral, then you gonna have to record audio first, before you go into another sound from the same hardware synth.

So if you have a multitimbral synth like a microkorg and you want to play the bass loop that you have let's say in track 1 at the same time that you play the piano melody in track 2 coming from the same synth I guess it's not possible, Right?

It is possible.

The first topic is covered in the forums countless times for sure.

For the second question I think it is a matter of just saving the program file. I depend on mixer settings because I use the 1k live and I dont have any problems in that area

Well the issue is not recording the midi sequence, that's ok.The problem is having them both playat the same time coming out of the same synth.I've checked the manual for the microkorg and when you follow it you get a sound that's like thicker and louder but I don't get what I'm looking for which is to have the bass loop and the melody both play at the same time coming from the same synth.
