recording with the Mpc 1000

so do i need to buy a freaking external thing to record now...this is retarded..rit when i think im all set i need to drop another $100 tell me you can record WAV on the mpc

You can resample the whole beat inside the MPC as a WAV file, then transfer that via USB to your PC. Also, if your PC already has a mic jack, you can record into that. It won't sound as good as a dedicated interface, but you can at least record your beat to the PC...

props on that but how do you resample iv heard the term but never thought id be using it..is it in the manual or did someone find out how to do it

Try page 51 of the User manual under the section "Recording the MAIN OUT".

It doesn't mention 'resampling' in the manual but I believe recording from the Main Out is the same as resampling.
