MPC4000 8-Outs Problem

I'm having some issues with my 8-out card. when tracking a beat into pro tools each output has a different level. out 1 is higher than out 2 out 4 is higher than out 3 and so on. even in mix mode when the level of all samples are at +00.0 I experience this problem. Please let me know if you guys ever experienced this.

maybe is them samples...no? try with a mono sample assigned to 3&4 and see if it comes out the same level.
also, it can be the mixer gain or meters!check with another mixer, or invert mixer channels to double check.

Are all of your output levels from the 8-outs set the same within the machine?

I've been away for awhile but yeah all of the sounds are at the same level when I run them through L/R out to my digi 002 but once I assign samples to the outs some outs are just way louder than others I hope it's not the 8-outs card

Maybe some are normalized and some are not. Also back to the output thing. Even though you may have set the levels to the same placement, have you looked into varying output settings such as some of the channels being -10db & +4db?
