Hi

Just got an MPC 2500 today and I am trying to work out the best way to intergrate it into my working enviroment.

I have the MPC synced up to Cubase 4 as a slave, and it follows the project cursor in cubase with no probs, allthough it does not like to follow cubases loop regions.

The mpc is going to be the primary unit for beats and effect noises. so would the best way for me to work be to.

1)build lots of small sequences and build up a song to then bonce to cubase as audio.

I dont like the idea of doing this as it would prevent me from altering any beats on the fly once other elements are added

2) make on long sequence rolling in time with cubase.

this will make it awkward when looping cubase to add outher elements as the mpc wont loop with it.

3) use the MPC just as a drum module.

I am sorry if these seem like silly questions, but I just want to get the most out of this unit, and i am new to the MPC world. any ideas how you guys work with your MPC and you DAWs host sequencer software would be most gratefull
