You know you could run the outs of your Motif through the MPC and have it play out through the MPC's OUTPUT. Use the INPUT FEATURE on your MPC. Connect your Motif OUTPUTS to the RECORD IN on your MPC, turn INPUT feature ON, and then adjust the RECORD IN knob accordingly. If not then jus record the outputs of the motif and mpc into the INPUT on your PC. Does that make sense to you?

Uh no. The input feature allows you to run the sound from a keyboard, guitar, ect.. into the mpc as if it were a mixer. You should try it to see what im saying. I know you can using the JJ OS(the free version) dont know if you can with Akai's OS.

If thats confusing or you cant figure out then record the outputs of the mpc and motif into your pc(if you have enough inputs).

If your sure that all your midi setting are correct all you have to do is create a midi track in pro tools in order to track out sounds from your motif...

do what nicole said...and so you dont gotta unplug the cables constantly when you wanna sample to the mp from a TT. connect the turntable to motif's inputs this way youll be able sample both without need of swapping the cables between motif and TT
