can anyone tell me how to connect my proteus 2000 sound module to my mpc 2500?

MIDI OUT of the MPC to MIDI IN of the Proteus 2000. If you have a midi keyboard controller, connect the MIDI OUT of the midi keyboard to the MIDI IN of the MPC. Finished.

can u tell me why everytime like i would use the proteus 2000 on one midi channel, record like a kick from one of the drum kits presets on the proteus, then when i switch to the next midi channel and change the sound, the previous channel sound switches to the new sound? i have everything set up correctly..midi out going into midi..is there a specific setting i have to do in the proteus?
