Making basslines with MPC1000, MIDI keyboard, + Reason 3.0.

Hey all,

Just getting the hang of the MP, have a Reason demo, and a 49 key MIDI keyboard. What can I use to start adding basslines to my MPC songs that currently are just melodic samples and drums? I'm kind of ignorant to what must be a cornucopia of available options!
