stupid question about loading samples.....i searched..really

Ok, so I have a cd that I have been trying to load samples off of. Its pre made with folders that each contain 16 samples each. I have gone through and done both methods of loading, loading by folder and loading individual samples to each pads, and I know theyre on there because I can see that they memory has gone down after I load them, but when I go back to the main screen to find them, I cant. I assume that its because I am looking in the programs and should be looking somewhere else, but I do not know where. Any actual programs I load work fine. I know that this is something totally simple that I am just overlooking, but would appreciate the help anyways.

BTW it is a MPC2500, new, assuming it runs the newest OS shipped from akai.

Try going to Program Mode, highlight one of the name fields and turn the jog wheel to select a sample there. Only then can you play them. Or go to Trim Mode to edit the samples themselves.

Then start reading your manual to get a grip of your machine.

i got it, i had just been skipping around in the manual and hadent actually read it straight through, and once I did I saw that part right away.
