Where did you get your MOST USED drum samples?

Hey all,

All I have is a Timbaland drums kit that I've overused to death, and don't know where to go beyond sampling from vinyl to get a lot of quality drum samples that I can really get a lot of use from. Which do you guys use?

when i find myself overusing my drums,
and can't find anymore vinyl in my collection to sample from...

i go out and dig for more vinyl.

but honestly, i cant remember where I got all my good sounding drums. over the years you just come across sounds. people upload them here and other places, google has drums, records have drums, ebayu even has those cheapo drum kit cd's. you may like the sound in those. but like lamp said, use the internet, man. you're already online. goto google and search for free drum samples.

i was pretty much set for life when i bought the "all the breaks" cd before they stoped selling it. I also use battery but mostly for the precussive and ethnic sounds. Oh and i have the mp-7 with mo phatt , extreme lead , protean drums and beat garden roms in it so i think im good.

There was a post not to long ago on here with about 300 classic drum machines for free try to gdig that up , if you think they are to clean dirty them up and layer layer layer.

Limiting yourself is a nono..... Digital dig, vinyl dig, just dig and find what you want, no matter what medium. You obviously have a computer so put that to use when you can't find the vinyl you are looking for ya know......

ibelileve there is a free plugin called izotope vinyl that makes it sound dirty and gritty.

I USE BATTERTY FOR ALOT OF MY DRUMS. AT FIRST I DIDN'T LIKE ALOT OF THE KITS BUT ONCE I LEARNED HOW TO LAYER THEM AND TWEAK THEM A LITTLE I'VE BEEN PRETTY MUCH SET WHEN IT COMES TO DRUMS.
