MPC 500 Problem!!

Hi there,

On my MPC 500 when I'm recording a sequence and say ive chopped up a sample on track 1 and i wanna add some drums to track two, if i hit a hit hat followed by a kick and some more hi hats really fast everything stops playing including the sample. It's frustrating ..basically when i hit some drums too close together the MPC stops playing back the sample. Is this a voice overlap/mute group problem? Someone plz help!! I just wanna lay down some drums..lol

Make sure everything is on seperate tracks (sample on 1, kick on 2, snare on 3 etc)

Go to program, params, and make sure its set to POLY and not MONO

If that doesn't work, create a new program for your drums.
