16 levels and midi controller?

Basically im trying to get my bass sound assigned to 16 levels but i wanna do my bass from my midi keyboard, but when i put my bass to 16 levels(Tune) it doesnt go to my midi keyboard, is it even able to do so? haha thanks for the help in advance

ALSO can anyone tell me a way to work my bass from my midi controller?

16 levels does not work with an external controller. But if you assign the same bass sample to each pad, you can alter the tuning for each pad in program mode.
