help. not urgent but help would be greatly appreciated

How yall doin?
Im jus a regular 16 year old kid who's only passion is music. I've been using fruity loops for about 2 years no. I recently picked up an old BOSS DR GROOVE DR 202 for 25 bucks from a yard sale. Not really feelin it too much but its all I got for now. I plan on purchasing a mpc 1000 in about a month. But I don't know what else I would need. So I would really appreciate if yall can gimme some tips on some things I should pick up along with my 1k so I can set up a decent home studio.

For starters: A decent turntable, some vinyl, and some good headphones or monitors (speakers).

motivation to learn and good amount of inspiration to create music :wink:

you dont need good monitors until you feel or know you need them.

turntable and mixer if you plan sampling vinyl. or USB turntable then you dont need 2 spend on mixer but sorta limit yourself to sampling on computer then transfering files to mpc.

there is turntables with digital output that you could connect directly to the mpc without a need for mixer. they little pricier than your basic stanton or numark tho

Your looking at spending more.
You Need:
-Good headphones
-1 Turntable
-Mixer to connect turntable
-CF card 2.0GB recommended
-RAM
-Records... Dig buddy dig
