Hi guys I just bought an mpd32 and I was wondering if the swing setings are the same of the mpcs.
I am asking that because I compared the midi files in 16 th notes at any percentage from mpc 3000, mpc 60 and they don't match at all.
Maybe I am doing something wrong here, this is what I did.

edit, note repeat, swing-57% or whatever, then time divisiion and 1/16 and I press the pad and it records in Logic or any daw.
I compared the midis(I dont own an mpc)-3000,60 and mpd the are not the same at all in placement.
two thihng or the midis around the net are fake or the mpd doesn't have the mpc midi feature or I am doing something wrong here.
The only thing I could think of is I didn't put logic to sync the mpd and put the mod to external sync and recorded in logic without quantize, the mpd midi swings a lot but is not the same.

What you guys think?

MPD32 has no sequencer so there is no swing on/in it. Swing comes from the sequencer application.

MIDI synced note-repeat with MPC swing
16 full-sized, genuine MPC pads with velocity and pressure-sensitive response
Assignable switches, sliders and endless knobs for a total of 72 controllers
2 assignable Foot Switches
1 assignable Foot Pedal controller
Large, easy-to-read custom LCD display
30 user-definable Presets for various DAW and software applications
MMC/MIDI Start/Stop transport buttons

As I told you I don't have an mpc but akai is advetising this like it has the same swing features, the note repeat it does have a swing feature 50% to 75%...

That part looks suspect to me though. I see what your saying now.

The MPD 32 does have swing and its pretty cool. To take full advantage of it with your DAW, You have to have the MPD 32's Midi Clock set to Internal.

I'm still playing with it in reason but it seems cool. You have to play with the Gate settings also.
I have an MPC 1k and I will do some MIDI comparison tests next week.
