Where to buy ( in New York )?

Just wondering which stores that sell the fully maxed MPC 2500 in New York.

I live in Europe where its twice the price, and its much cheaper to buy it over there when I go there, than shipping it by mail. Then I will have to pay the shipping-cost + 25% extra taxes.

They sell it on ebay for $1900, so if anyone knows a store in the New York area which has the same price please let me know. It's nice if they have a webpage too;)

It's not twice the price over here. And you really want all the hassle lugging an extra 10 Kg around with you on the plane? And by the way, you have to pay taxes when you return back to your home country by plane as well...the only difference is you might be lucky and they don't check you when you walk through the "Nothing to declare" door.

Well, the standars MPC without the extras cost $2600 here in Norway. And Ive never "declared" any hardware going thru customs, and never had any problems with it either.

You have any websites in Germany then? At least it will be less shippingcosts from there....

I saw a MPC2500LE behind the counter at Guitar Center in Brooklyn (Atlantic Terminal) for $1999.00 plus tax. That was on 5/3/08. Hope that helps.

Well, if you get caught be prepared to pay a lot more then the 25% extra taxes...

But I guess as Norway is not in the EU, you will pay the extra 25% anyway. But that would still be cheaper than flying over to NY just to buy it.

Hehe... Wasn't going over there to get one. Thought I'd get one since Im going anyways. But not going untill after the summer. Going to Germany ( Nuerburgring ) in mid-june. Maybe I can stop by Thomann when Im going over there....

Driving from Kiel to Nuerburgring, do you know if the store is far from that route?

Musicstore is in Köln, that should be on the route anyway. They have the same prices usually.

they had the best price i came across. arrived on the other side of the world in six days.

lol i bought a mpc 1000 from hong kong and travelled to france the caribbeans then to the philippines then to vancouver and had no trouble with customs
