Mpc 2500 With Turntable Connection "HELP"

WASSUP I HAVE AN "ION" TURNTABLE AND IM TRYING TO CONNECT IT TO MY MPC 2500, IS THERE A WAY I CAN MY TURNTABLE TO MY MPC WITH OUT A MIXER

LET ME KNOW ASAP!!! THANKS!!!

Does the ION have a line output?

Do you even know the specs of that turntable you have, if you did you'd know if you need a mixer or not.

i gotta go with lamp on this one. SV, by the time you have typed these questions and received an answer, you could have read the manual or experimented and found out the answer. you are talking inputs and outputs here. plug them in and see what happens.

Even if you don't have a line out from your turntable, you can sample at a very low level and NORMALIZE the sample. A lot of people will disagree with this method as it will also bring up the noise level with it, but being a "digital" sample, the noise will still be minimal. I still end up doing this from time to time. See what you think.

As far as the negative posts, you just need to take your time and experiment. I have always been interested in sampling, but I have never had anyone else to talk to or ask any questions. The internet has deffinately changed this. I spent years figuring stuff out on my own, which deffinately has advantages, but I also could have saved a lot of time had I had some help. Just try to figure it out yourself, but don't be afraid to ask when you are stumped.
