MPC 400 help needed please help with simple problem

please help i recently purchased a mpc 4000 coming from a mpc 1000. i understand the 4000 but i dont understand y my timing is off, with to the time correct window tc:1/16 swing 50% shift timing set to earlier shift amount 0


the 400o obviously has more functions then the mpc 1000 but my claps sound off.

most of my songs are 96.0 tempo and also i tried 1/32 and 1/64 but didnt help much please help

lol i turn off world clock n that helped alot lmao i luv the 4000

check the sample itself in the trim screen maybe a second or 2 of empty space before the actual transient.
