i had some 100 bucks studio monitors from samon the new mini ones, but i had to sell due to money. but now im gonna get some headphones. but i have some speakers from my home stereo, but the speakers, just have speaker wire at the end with no input connections, so just a wire coming out of each speaker, with a split end with the wire exposed. typical speaker wire ends. but i was wondering if i can get those hooked up to a rca connection, like some sort of adaptor?

Actually, you need an amplifier....but no, you can't plug those into your MPC.

Not the same s**t. A receiver has a built-in radio tuner, which you don't need at all to amp your MPC. Not that he runs out now looking for a "receiver" while a simple amp would do the job as well.
