I'm getting the s2000 here in a couple days to go along with my sp 404. (i do lots of sampling) Do i still need a good sequencer? I have cubase and pro tools but i want to steer away from software for a while. so would i just need a multi track or would i need a sequencer +multitrack? I'm just tired of the mouse clicking and keyboard typing. Would u suggest an mpc? I had a 500 and that didn't suit my needs so i was thinking a 60 II or what do u guys think?

a full fledged sampler + mpc combo is a beautiful and powerful setup to work with (i use a 2000xl+s950 + pro tools)
thinking of using the mpc just as an sequencer i would go with the mpc 60 but in your case a mpd controller could do the job aswell.
