It worked, didn't it? I can't really call that lazy, there aren't many producers who would even think to include a Clash sample in a beat.

it might work but that doesn't mean that it ain't a lazy sample...it's virtually untouched, are you trying to tell me that it's a shining example of creative sampling?
I almost got to meet joe strummer at his house once, touring with some rich dudes who went to school with his daughter. The party/show that she was trying to organise never materialised though, and by the time we were down there again he had died...

and i dont think its lazy at all, it was definitely touched. listen to the two side by side, i mean its definitely not a "shining example of creative sampling" but it was definitely cleaned up a lot.. it sounds cool
