If I put crates and crates of vinyl in the walk in closet (im going to keep door open) with my clothes, will my clothes start to smell like old vinyl? I just want to know because I dont have anywhere else to put the records so if i'm screwed.

If I can't avoid it, i'll just put crates all over the room.

Thanks. I will remove all my records from the cardboard and stack them on top of each other. Thanks for the advice.

If you're getting lots of vinyl that already smells musty -- then yes. Consider getting some charcoal to help deodorize the room if you have smelly records.

just leave a block of Mr. Zog's Sex Wax in your closet. then your clothes and records will have a slight coconut smell that will alwyas remind you of taking the drop on a 12' wave.
