Samples from TV shows, movies, Cartoons.

One thing I miss about being a kid and listening to hip-hop in the 90s was the many skits that would be on albums and the heavy sampling of movies and TV shoes. Things like the kung-fun movies Rza would sample and even the cheesy Mafia movies everyone would take slices out of. Recently I was listening to I think it was a Dilla track and I heard that noise the futuristic cars would make in the Jetsons, thought i was pretty cool.
Any wierd sounds you guys like to get out of old TV shows or cartoons? Where else do you guys dig (non-musicwise) Even oldskool cartoons like Tom & Jerry have some cool sound FX since a lot of the people who composed music for those shows also happened to be some cracked-out modern composers. Let me know.

I used some kids records back in the 90s and there were some series I recorded on Minidisc for some sounds and music (Starsky and Hutch, Mission Impossible and stuff like that) but nowadays I got so many records that I dont look out for other sample sources.

One of my all time favorites

Back in the day I just would sit back and sample from my chair! Cable is great source for food for your machine. You have so many sounds to get. and movies they pay big money to get the sound right so thats a another great source for sounds.

recently ive been sampling from vhs tape.analog man.actually got nice feel to it.found the machine in garbage!!!!plenty of old samples to be had on "worthless" video. DIY.......... check my signuture for old beat st samples(vhs)
