I just found someone with approx. 115 records for sale. Mostly 70's jazz but they say theres some soul, disco and show tunes mixed in. I offered $45 and they accepted but i figure id ask what you guys think? Im used to spending a few bucks each on records so this looks like a decent deal to me.

the only downside I see is now you are going to have to take out 60 from the bank machine and stop somewhere to get change... you should have offered 40 to save yourself all that extra shit. other then that... pretty fair deal by the sound of it.

Just hope that there's more jazz LPs than show tunes....

Even at a minimum, if you only find 10 - 15 LPs in the stack worth keeping it's a good deal.

Whatever you don't end up liking just throw em back in to the wild (donate to thrift store).

Its all good for the beginning digger. Jazz seems to be the most hitted genre due to the massive instrumentals you get. But once you learn to chop and flip, any source becomes prized possesions.

Just picked up a stack of LP's at a garage sale for 10$. I got some pretty good digs. Some Count Basie, Johnny Mathias, Nat King Cole, Duke Elington, ect. Also 6 or 7 Sesame Street LP's that I'm looking forward to sampling. I'm running out of record cleaner with all these dirty records around.
