a bit of self-promotion coming up, but i think you mpc heads are gonna love this. :]

anyway, i have this blog called bedroom producers blog and it's dedicated to all sorts of freeware tools for music production. so apart from other stuff on it, there's a series of posts called free sample shootout which covers the best legally free samples in different categories. there have been six shootouts so far:
