Never heard of them or him, it could be a one man band at the boards and a Moog. I dug up this record at the local antique store after sifting through countless common records I already own.

I picked it up because it says sounds from the occult on the cover and I like stuff like that so for $5, I bought it on that alone and the only record I walked out with. On top of that I check out ebay and amazon and they go for $100 to $200, so this is a gem indeed.

The music is really good and every song is chockful of samples. This sounds like when synths were meant to be spooky electronic sounds during the early '70s.

that's a Mort Garson LP... that dude's one of my favorites on the synths... he's the guy that did all the music on those zodiac sign LPs from the late 60's... he's got some other tripped out sh!t indeed. real nice find there, ill...

Yeah, Mr. Mort Garson :D After I made this post, I discovered that he made a bunch of albums like this. Interesting stuff he put out, all left field for the time.

I never heard of him or his studio albums until Sunday's dig.
