I dont understand the concept of this. I meean what is this special smartphone device? is it inside the paper turntable or the vinyl? Is it a kind of streaming device build in there that stream the mp3 to the phone?
clever marketing gag tho (from the esthetic point of view)
@ fobe: don't worry you won't find someone with a useless paperturntable at a diggin spot. Do you belive the phone "reads" the vinyl??

Gone are the days when we used to hit spots and the owner's didn't know what they had.. ahh! them were the days but you can still get lucky because in most cases because only you know what it is you're looking for...We all have a pair of ears that hear things differently (just pick your favorite producer and see if you would have chopped or sampled the beat in the same way! probably not unless it was blatant hahaha) Most shops these days have a listening station set up if you're not sure about what you are buying.. but who has time for that anyway? You have to do your homework before you go digging so that way you don't have to ask questions thus "DRIVING THE PRICES UP".. that whole portable record thing was a cool before the net caught up now all you are managing to do is draw attention to yourself (and that's not making you look cool on some look at me I'm a beat digger ish). In other words just buy them and try them at home.. its all part of the game! and if you crap out Well then now your learning something
