well lets do 80's theme:

record has to be from 80-84 pressing

any style of music

rules are the same; you score more points for using the entire record
but you can use drums and bass from out side source .

start your diggin and have fun yall

I'll kick yall asses with this 80's quest. I have the illest collection of warped & scratched 80's records. You know it's hot when it has a ugly white dude on the cover, and a girl with too much mascara and a purple stretch-pants.
In fact, I think we should be getting some bonuspoints for who uses the record with the sickest recordsleeve.

I got a lot of 80's Italo Disco. After disco died, Italy was strong on it.
I'll have to look through my crates.

man, late 70s early 80s is my speciality. and ill tell you now that not all 80s stuff is cheese/ bargain bin wackness. $3-10 per disco record depending on what it is. and theres alot of ill non-cheese shit that came out in the 80s too. a majority of my beats come from disco and i dont get them in bargain bins,..so i might have to jump in this...but if u stick with the bins your gonna get alot of wack shit

allrite heres my beat for this battle this month i went out and dug around and found this record it's called"THE BONGOS drums along the hudson"
it was pressed in 1982 on fetish records. PVC label it actually doesnt sound anything what it looks like. it's mostly rock like garage band ,

anyways i took pieces of this record and made this piece, this record had some drum loops that were pretty good but i didnt use them; the drums are up tempo and when timestreghted it didnt sound that good , so i used my own drums from my kits, i cheated on the vox i took pieces from the movie matrix ,i've been on this sampling phrases tip right now so i had to add this to my music,
well enough said already ; here it is give it a listen and drop some feed back ,
it's called "Battle Slaughter"
njoi
battle slaughter here
