Nice find's out in the countryside

one a year there is this 'happening' in my town, and today was the day... i found mint copy's of 'beastie boys licence to ill' and 'eric B and rakim paid in full with a coldcut mix'... some nice find's for the lost countryside in belgium!

"The lost countryside in Belgium" ... Would be a nice title for a new Lynch flick. But its gonna be INLAND EMPIRE recorded mainly in Poland. Anyway, wich town are you talking about?

yeah the people in the country listen to music too, some just come to the big city to party and work there then go back home to there neck of the woods,

i grew up in the country as a kid helped pioneer hiphop there in the 80's and now we got kids like ray luv , mac mall, and cats like that coming out of Vtown, ray luv use to break and kick it at my house when we were kids,
he use to be a bad ass popper.

David Lynch is making a new movie with StudioCanal. In fact, he's already been shooting it under the radar for two years. Titled "INLAND EMPIRE" (in capitals, though Lynch doesn't explain why), it stars Laura Dern, along with Justin Theroux, Harry Dean Stanton, Jeremy Irons and a host of others Lynch won't specify.
In fact, there's still very little the enigmatic Lynch is comfortable to reveal about the movie.
"It's about a woman in trouble, and it's a mystery, and that's about all I want to say about it," he comments diffidently.
The title refers to the bleak residential area on the edge of the desert near L.A. -- the antithesis of the tony locale of his last movie "Mulholland Drive."
Lynch has shot much of his latest film in Poland with local actors, after making friends with the organizers of the Camerimage festival in Lodz. He's now back shooting in and around Los Angeles.
Even at this relatively advanced stage of production, Lynch is cagey about when it will be finished. But it's understood that StudioCanal is aiming for a world preem at Cannes next year.
"Making a film is a beautiful mystery," Lynch says. "You go deep into the wood, and you don't want to come out of that wood, but the time is coming very soon when I will have to."
Lynch has financed the production to date from his own resources, with his wife and longtime artistic collaborator Mary Sweeney producing. The budget is unknown.
StudioCanal, which financed "Mulholland Drive" and "The Straight Story," has come aboard "INLAND EMPIRE" to handle worldwide sales.

Last time I went to the a thrift store in the countryside in Belgium, they had a full crate of beethoven. Nothing but beethoven, not the quality recordings but those cheapass god-knows-why-they-even-bother-to-press-em on-vinyl records you got back in the days when you bought a kilo of coffe beans or a drum of washing powder. So yeah you had a nice find there

Yes yes INLAND EMPIRE with Dern ( chick from Cage in Wild at heart) & Theroux (director in Mul. Dr.) . First time since Mulholland Drive I cant wait to go to the cinema. And IE is partly recorded in Lodz, I have some relatives there Ive been there afew times, wich makes things even more interesting.
I hope both season 2 & 3 from TP comes to DVD... Season 1 just sits here for too long now.. waiting for the next episodes
Oh if you rent a Lynch film, watch it with a good pair of headphones! Badalamenti is awesome!! They both know exactly what they are doing. They work together since Blue Velvet. Did you know Lynch learned to play the trumpet for 4 years? Did you know he is a sound engineer (more of a creator.. Mic + machinery + synths and all he can find)
Did you know he has beaten his ex wife a few times and he s now part of the Maharadja? He comes up for world peace. He is a painter too. He barely makes scripts for his films
