IZotope Vinyl Emulation

Anyone use this plugin?

Okay now I know some heads are like f' this dude, strictly vinyl here, or whatever, but seeing that I sample from everything, including vinyl, cds, vcr tapes, dvds, nintendo games, digital cable radio, this plugin some times works wonders on giving a vinyl sound (or just low-fi ing a too clean sound, sometimes vinyl can sound too clean, depending on age)... Plus sometimes its impossible to find so and such vinyl, and cds the only option...

Anyways heres the site, if anyone wants it.. It works with anything that uses a dx plugin (soundforge here) and its free.

It has a bunch of effects including warping, dust, age of the record player, wear, electronic hum, whatever...

yeah i use it with CEP and it works great when your not working with analog studio equipment.

Yes I use this. Not necessarily to make things sound like vinyl but as a way of making vocals sound really distant in the mix.

use it sometimes, really handy plugin and FREE!

Just got it, and I'm diggin' it so far.
It's good for fx too, I used to emulate a radio broadcast in a Short Film I'm working on.

I remember this plugin when it first came out like, sum 3 years ago, I used it extensively then but now I don't. I always have better luck using my own filters....I don't know but it still is nice for it's price, or lack thereof.
