paul's on mont-royal street.but
I'm from montreal too and I hate paul's boutique !!! that is not a true digging spot ! The records are always waaayyy overpriced and the guy gives you 3$ for a lp and will sell it 20$ ten minutes later. Plus they're all in shitty conditions... anyway he doesn't know $hit. Trust me. You gotta go out of montreal, check for garage sales and flea market, etc... but I gotta admit that through the years , I finally found some people in montreal who have like 150000 records in their basement for like 1$ each.
And ebay killed a lot of good records store here ( and not only in montreal, i'm sure )
If you want a list of all the good record stores in montreal, I'll email it to you.

on duluth near au pied de cochon dont remember the name tho... use to be mars on st cath one messy shop with tons of vynil stacked and dusty, true diggin spot but i think the closed cauz it was too dirty village des valeur have some vynil too, very cheap.
