what do yall think about this?

i buy rap cd's but i dont really buy any records

i been thinkin about gettin only vinyl singles and instrumental lp's for rap maybe a few classic albums but thats about it what yall do wit rap...think its a dumb idea?

Hmm..I buy some stuff on vinyl. At my house I don't listen to CDs I listen to my records. When I am my car is when I listen to CD's so I buy more hiphop on CDs. The stuff that I really like though I try to cop on vinyl.
I'm also a turntablist/dj so I buy hiphop vinyl for the beats..

yeh i love the beats man

so basically all im gettin is
singles
instrumentals
classics
and maybe some various artists albums

Word, that's about all I buy.

Singles are only good if you're Djing. I don't like to get up and down off my arse more than I have to in the house. LPs all the way, Singles for playing out...

yeah only if you dj , then buy that but you will listen to then later in life and say damn i should have bought the album you just gettin in to it now, beleive me later you still got a fresh mind on the idea sounds good , but only if you dj. i know i got 12" and lp's and sometimes i wish i had the full album cause they didnt make a 12" of a certain song.

the cool thing about 12"is that if there is a remix or bonus that isn't on the full length they usually put it on the b side. And inst. and accapellas

I still cop rap on 12". Runnin out of room in the crib. Speaking of remixes on 12"- I'm still buggin on De La Soul's 12" of Me Myself and I- 2 different joints on the same side 1 groove apart. Just played the orig. 12" Doctor Love and now I'm throwin on Heartbeat.Old School on holidays yall.

vinyl hiphop is nice cause you can use the accepellas to put over your beats to test them out..............
