So I'm moving soon, and six months ago I found a few crates of some really dope 78's for free. I've sampled a few things, and granted they are 78's, noisy as hell, pops, etc. Manually I've cleaned up the pops and hiss as much as I can without changing the audio itself, but it still sounds like crap. Has anybody successfully sampled 78's with good results, cuz after f'in with it in my sample editor, I still can't get the signal to noise ratio good enough to use in a track. I've toyed with different gain levels when I sample too, cuz I know that adds to the noise if too high. I don't want to toss 'em before I move if possible, but as of now I can't rationalize spending the money to ship 'em across the states. Any info mad appreciated. Peace
