Moved up here a few weeks ago now, been trying to find a place, get used to job and get my new downsized setup together so haven't had that much time for digging. Now I'm all sorted I wanted to know if anyone knows any good spots.
So far I've found the following two stores within walking distance of Angel tube station. Just turn right out of the station and keep walking along the road. You'll come to a bit of opening where there is a store called Flashback which has a relatively good selection of vinyl downstairs, most of which is priced pretty well. Seemed to be the sort of place you would go if you were just looking for something in particular. If you keep going down the same street a bit further down there is a store called Haggle Vinyl. Its less well organised than Flashback but has a lot more vinyl and a lot of cheap stuff on the floor under the racks which is always good for a cheap find. They also have piles of 45s than are like 25p - 50p each.
I've also gone out to Camden which has Record & Video Exchange (2 stores across the street from each other) which seemed pretty good. Also, there seemed to be a lot of charity shops round there which I think might need to be explored further.
Other than that I haven't really checked anywhere else, doesn't seem to be any close to where I work or live, so wondered if anyone else did know of some other good spots (I don't expect you to give away your best ones, just kinda want a point in the right direction).
