How much you pay your records ?

I prefer paying nothing or next to nothing.. but yeah, if you're really into diggin, sky's the limits. My first collection (close to 4000 pieces), over half I snaked out of shops and libraries when I was a grimy lil teen-ager in the 80's and 90's. Ever since I lost that collection in'96, I just chill patiently buying what little I can, and waiting for people to just give me records. The highest I've paid for one album is about $165, a "Japanese only pressing" of Masaru Imada Trio+ Three's "Green Catapillar". I got jacked really bad... it was an ebay auction. When the record arrived, turned out it was 180 gram re-issue and not an original pressing. I could've ordered the same damn record for $35 + shipping off a website.

I will only pay up to $2.00 for a record....unless it's rare. The Thrift stores down in Alabama be tryin to rob you.

i get most of my records for free but when i'm diggin' i'm usually paying $1-3 bucks. for the rare stuff i'll pay up to $20. that's just me tho.

i just always try to get them for free. there's always people throwing 'em out or have 'em stored in their basement and what not...ask around.
