I got a pretty good store in my hometown. I know the guy behind the counter and I can tell him what I'm after (breaks, chords, strings, ... ). He'll just give me a stack of records to check out and everything he gives me is really good. Maybe not what I'm looking for to use at that moment but I always come out with a bunch of usable records.

I take my portable record player with me when I go to another country so I can listen in my hotel.

i'll preview a record to see what the steeze is like on it, but that's it.

i hate listening to something before i actually sit down and sample it. ruins the whole excitement of things
