any good sites??

hey im so pissed. i just bought like $200 worth of wax and its all warped lol. ive never bought it b4 so i didnt know how to check. but is there any good sites to get some older stuff? thanks

all warped? man.... that sucks!!!! i got one today that pissed me off it cost me 1.49 really pissed me off cause it was someting i wanted.

where did you buy them? please dont tell me you bought it online. cause i'll have o tell you thats a leason learned. you never buy that much off line if your a beginner at that.

dude hit up the thrift. or look up a local record store before you spend that much money.

1 make sure you check what inside the cover and look over the record make sure it's not scratched and it not warped and it the right record that belongs in there,

well if you can, let me know OK cause i got techniques but it still not mastered yet.

well i heard if you let them spin outside in the sun on a hot day it will fix it? havent tried it yet cause its still cold as hell out.

key words man.....^^ dont go by that. i have said this many times before word of mouths gets you nowhere, i have my own methods and they worked do a search on here i have a few topic or go to my yahoo,group and check out my info there.

i havent tried that spining thing on the turns yet , but i only HEARD people say they HEARD and that turn me away to there method i need actual prove by the person, i spend to much money on records to just go by i HEARD then to find out when you try it your records worse,at least with my method i have trued it and it worked for me .

can you let me know how to do it man? i really would appriciate it. thanks

This happened to me at an after hours party in Queens. It got so hot out that afternoon that the records I was playing at that moment liquified. I still don't know how they never got damaged. But they still played without a problem and was back to normal in a matter of minutes (they put up a tarp when I pointed that out).

I wouldn't recommend this method. somehow I believe it was a fluke that nothing was damaged.

Now when i was in 3rd grade, my music teacher told me to take a warped record and lay it on a flat surface with something flat and heavy like a stack of books for a few days. I never had the patience back then to put that to the test since my warped records were still playable. But I can't see any harm in trying that.

ive fixed a record by placing it on wax paper in my oven, on a low temp,and it's almost perfect!

Wax paper and an iron. warm it up then sandwich it on something flat with something flat and heavy. Let me know if it works lol.
